What is the difference between Mbps and MB/s in speed tests?

Mbps stands for Megabits per second (lowercase b), which measures network transmission bandwidth. MB/s stands for Megabytes per second (uppercase B), which measures file download size. Because 1 Byte equals 8 bits, your real-world download speed in MB/s is your Mbps speed divided by 8.

How does CODEGUYAKASH Speed Test determine network health?

Network health is calculated by evaluating loaded vs unloaded latency (bufferbloat), RFC-standard jitter stability, packet loss percentage, and stream throughput to grade suitability for gaming, video calls, and 4K streaming.

Does this test support IPv4 and IPv6?

Yes, CODEGUYAKASH Speed Test runs simultaneous dual-stack detection to identify both your public IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and report connection protocol status.
